Note to my English-speaking readers: sometimes I write in English, sometimes in Finnish, depends on the day. Some things are easier to express in English, some in Finnish.
I'm a 30-year old woman from Finland, someone who has been depressed for most of life and struggled with it a lot. This fall I started to study again, information processing science this time. I'm having an interesting time trying to adjust to schedules and grades and "doing stuff" after 4 years of relative inaction.
Like so many of us, I also entertain vague dreams about writing "one day". I long to share the perspective of years in depression, but usually doubt that there is anything meaningful I have to say.
I'm not one to think about ways to make money but one thing I know: If I could solve all the problems I've had in these last years with studying and building a life of my own I would be rich. But that's just a reflection of how widely spread I see the problems that I've encountered to be.
